Clerk & Recorder Reiner named President of Clerk's Association

Congratulations to Sheila Reiner, the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder who was recently named as President to the Colorado Clerk's Association, a group of County Clerks from across Colorado. Sheila was named President at this year's Winter Conference in Pueblo, Colorado.

This is very significant indeed as Shelia will be able to ensure smaller, rural counties such as Mesa have a larger presence and voice on matters regarding record keeping and elections in Colorado.

Sheila is a native of Western Colorado and began her service in county government in June 2001 as an Elections Application Technician.  In the following years, she worked her way through the ranks to serve as Elections Director and Chief Deputy until she ran for office in 2010 and was elected Mesa County’s Clerk & Recorder. She became a member of the CCCA in the same year and was elected to serve on the Executive Board January of 2011.
Sheila is a nationally and state certified elections administrator.

Congratulations, Shelia!
