Primary Elections Ballots Mailed June 2, 2014

The 2014 Primary Election is June 24, 2014. If you are affiliated with a major political party, watch the mail for your ballot.

Colorado is now an all mail ballot state. Voters no longer have to apply for a mail ballot to receive one.

Your Mail-in Ballot packets will contain five pieces:
  • An outgoing envelope (the white envelope in which your ballot packet was mailed to you).
  • A return envelope (the colored envelope you will return your ballot in. Please remember to sign the affidavit found beneath the envelope flap).
  • A secrecy sleeve (the folded sleeve to place your ballot in to protect your voting privacy).
  • A drop slip (this contains voting information such as ballot box locations and return postage information).
  • The Ballot.
If you require a ballot be mailed to an address other than your regular registered mailing address, you must apply for an absentee ballot at www.govotecolorado.com or download, print, and complete a mail-in ballot application form and mail it to:
Mesa County Elections
PO Box 20,000
Grand Junction, CO 81502-5009

Voted ballots may be returned by mail or by dropping off at a ballot box. For more information, including ballot box locations, how to register online, voter eligibility, and more, please visit the Mesa County Clerk & Recorder's Elections link: Mesa County Clerk and Recorder Link.
