Mesa County Weed Spraying Program

Mesa County Division of Transportation in cooperation with the Division of Pest Management has contracted with Horizon Vegetation Management to apply herbicides to manage weeds along roadways throughout Mesa County from March through September.
If you do not wish to have your right-of-way treated with herbicides, contact the Mesa County Division of Pest Management (970-255-7121) to confirm or add your name to the No Spray List and identify the location of the area that should not be sprayed.  You must also flag your right-of-way with orange flagging tape.  It is your responsibility as the property owner to manage weeds in your flagged area.

Questions and concerns about the application of herbicides
should be addressed to:
(970) 255-7121 or weed.pest@mesacounty.us

US Airways Magazine to Feature Mesa County

US Airways has announced that Mesa County has been chosen to be featured in an editorial profile of the community in the June edition of their in-flight magazine.
The opportunity is substantial for Mesa County. The profile will be available to the over 6 million passengers that board flights that month. These are business owners that could be introduced to our area and move or expand their business here, these are leisure travelers that will see and read about Mesa County and visit and spend money here.
The co-operative profile will look to tell the story of Mesa County from our vibrant outdoors activities, wine and fruit industry, healthcare and education system, real estate development potential and much more. We will of course share the article with you when it is published in June. Yay, Mesa County!
