Mesa County Offices Closed for Martin Luther King Jr Day

MESA COUNTY, COLO January 15, 2015 - Many Mesa County Offices will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2015 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

This closure includes:
  • Commissioners, Treasurer, Assessor, Surveyor (544 Rood Avenue) 
  • Administration offices (544 Rood Avenue) 
  • Attorney's Office (544 Rood Avenue) 
  • Clerk & Recorder's Office 
  • Motor Vehicle/Recording/Elections/Clerk & Recorder (200 S. Spruce Street) 
  • Motor Vehicle/Clerk & Recorder (3225 I-70 Business Loop, Clifton) 
  • Motor Vehicle/Clerk & Recorder (325 East Aspen Street, Fruita) 
  • District Attorney's Office (125 N. Spruce Street). This includes the Justice Center 
  • Health & Human Services (510 29 1/2 Road) 
  • Public Works and Planning (200 S. Spruce Street) 
  • Regional Transportation Planning Office (525 S. Sixth Street) 
  • Resource Management (544 Rood Avenue) 
  • Sheriff's Office - Records and Civil Divisions (215 Rice Street) 
  • Workforce Center (512 29 1/2 Road) 
The closure does NOT include: 
  • Criminal Justice Services (South Avenue) 
  • Grand Valley Transit (GVT) 
  • Mesa County Landfill (Hazardous Waste Collection Facility and Organic Material Composting Facility will be closed per their usual schedule) 
  • Sheriff's Office - Jail, Patrol, Emergency Services (215 Rice Street) 
Alternate Hours:
Animal Services (Coffman Road) will be open from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
