Open house scheduled for Buckskin Hill Road Improvement Project near Collbran
Community members in and near Collbran are invited to an open house on Thursday, March 26, about the Buckskin Hill Road Improvement Project.
What: Open house and short presentation on the Buckskin Hill Road Improvement Project.
When: Thursday, March 26, 6 p.m.
Where: Collbran Auditorium, Main Street, Collbran
Who: All community members interested in hearing more about the proposed design and construction schedule for the upcoming road improvement project.
After the presentation, community members will be able to ask questions of the design team from Mesa County and local firm SGM Consultants, which was hired to help determine how best to fix the issue.
Mesa County officials last fall closed a portion of 58 1/2 Road just south of Collbran that is unsafe because of a reoccuring landslide. The road will be closed until sometime in 2016. The road is sliding both horizontally and vertically.
