Rose Pugliese elected CCI Western District president

Mesa County Commissioner Rose Pugliese has been elected president of the Western District of Colorado Counties, Inc.

The Western District encompasses 16 counties. As president, Pugliese will facilitate meetings between the counties, among other leadership tasks.

The vote was unanimous. Pugliese, who will serve a one-year term, was honored to be chosen.

"It's a real privilege to be able to represent our fellow Western District counties in this leadership position," Pugliese said.

CCI is a non-profit membership association whose purpose is to offer assistance to county commissioners, mayors and council members and to encourage counties to work together on common issues.
