The Tri-River Area Extension office offers information and programming including 4-H youth development, agriculture, gardening and horticulture, water resources management and consumer and family education.
In other business, the Commissioners:
- Appointed Stacey Beaugh, Claudette Konola and Gale Foster to the Riverfront Commission for three-year terms.
- Appointed Stan Young to the Mesa County Noxious Weed Advisory Board for a five-year term.
- Met as the Board of Equalization and ratified the receipt of the Assessor's Valuation Report presented to the Commissioners at their July 13 public hearing.
- Heard an update from Joseph Sanchez, director of Mesa County Libraries
