The Commissioners, other Elected Officials, and key Mesa County employees, at the Gateway Community Center on Thursday evening. This event allowed for the community to converse with and ask questions of Mesa County officials.
The Mesa County Employee Association's (MCEA) raffle for a Father's Day Basket
was awarded to Brandy Mow, Clerk & Recorder's Office.
Mesa County employees Todd Hollenbeck, Dan Caris, and Eric Brown, along with Mesa County employee spouse, Joe Gudorf, participated in the St. Baldrick's hair shaving event
held Wednesday morning on the Mesa County courthouse lawn.
Noxious weed management is conducting site visits to look for and map Dalmatian Toadflax on properties near Molina. This noxious weed looks like a snapdragon
but can completely control a pasture or field.
Teresa Nees and the noxious weed management crew dug up some diffuse knapweed near DeBeque.
The crew met with Shannon Hatch (Tamarisk Coalition) to check on the health of tamarisk previously treated along Monument Road. This tamarisk is not looking too happy.
