Mesa County staff and Elected Officials participated in Bike to Work Day June 28, 2017.

Commissioner Rose Pugliese alongside her husband, rode their bikes several miles to work on Bike to Work Day.

Mesa County Treasurer Janice Rich and husband, Planning Director Linda Dannenberger, and Surveyor Patrick Green with his spouse rode into work Wednesday morning. 

Development Services Manager Dan Caris and his wife, rode their bikes to work on Wednesday.

Mesa County volunteers set up and handed out breakfast for hungry riders. Thank you!

County Administrator Frank Whidden, and Administrative Assistants Rene Romero and Kristen Cole participated in Bike to Work Day.

Wednesday evening, the Inside Mesa County (IMC) class heard presentations from the District Attorney
and the Sheriff's Office.

Captain Don Hendricks gives the class an overview of the Support Services Division of the Sheriff's Office 

Captain Art Smith briefs the class on the Detentions Division which covers the daily operations of the Mesa County Detentions Facility. 

District Attorney Dan Rubenstein gave a presentation on his office's mission to pursue justice, protect victims and prevent crime in Mesa County. 

Captain Todd Rowell talked to the IMC class about the Law Operations Division and their primary duties for the citizens of Mesa County.
