What is a Tax Lien?  A tax lien represents a lien of unpaid real estate taxes, assessments, penalties,
advertising costs and fees.  Investing in tax liens through purchase at a tax lien sale is just that—an
investment, earning interest on funds invested.  You purchase the tax lien, not the property.
