Mesa County Central Services Building to open late Nov. 9

Services delayed for 30 minutes due to safety operation exercise at 200 S. Spruce St.

Mesa County staff at the Central Services Building (MCCS), 200 S. Spruce St., will participate in a safety operation simulation Thursday, Nov. 9 from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. The building will be closed to the public for 30 minutes—all services will be affected by the delay.

This exercise allows Mesa County departments located at MCCS and partnering first responder agencies to test procedures and strategies that would be triggered in cases of public safety emergencies.

Departments affected by the delayed opening include:
Clerk and Recorder’s Office: Elections, Motor Vehicle, Recording
Public Works: Building, Code Enforcement, Engineering, Planning

Operations will resume business as usual at 8:30 a.m. We apologize for the inconvenience.
