Mesa County Honors Veterans

The Board of County Commissioners recognizes the service, dedication and sacrifice of all Mesa County veterans for their military service. Our country is free because of those who have selflessly answered the call to serve and protect.

Mesa County Commissioners present a proclamation Monday (Nov. 6) morning in public hearing to commemorate Mesa County Veterans. Back row: Mike Bradbury, Curtis Jones, Rich Reno, Scott Treider. Front row: Lou Brackett, Mesa County Commissioner John Justman, Mesa County Veteran Services Officer Brian Oney, Mesa County Solid Waste Director Barrett Jensen, Mesa County Commissioner Scott McInnis.

After the public hearing, many veterans spent time sharing stories on the front lawn of the Old Mesa County Courthouse, 544 Rood Ave.
